Piloting with the primary school - Alivola - Step 4 - January 24, 2013 - Photo and Video

 

In this video the work made today. 1 - Today, children will build the first automata of their story. Luca, Clohe teacher, explains the work that they will do today: take up the story which was drawn from each group and realize the automata of the first key point.
2 -  The children read the story and discuss how to construct the automata. Some children would like to make changes, and the group discusses it. In a group a child was absent in the previous workshop and do not want to carry the story because "he does not like." He would like to make a spaceship. The teacher asks him to fit in the group, however, and maybe carry some fantastic changes.
3 - It is distributed the material for the design and construction. Each group begins to realize their automata dividing the tasks: a) draw the characters in the notebook
4 - b) make the wheels of the mechanism c) cut the sticks of the mechanism d) transfer the designs on the sheets of colored rubber and cut them out, to make the characters.
5 - e) assemble the mechanism in the box
6 - f) enter the characters and scenery
7 - A first difficulty lies in cutting the sticks with scissors. With a lot of attention a child paste the various sticks to build a cage and then remove the excess glue. Carefully other children glue the various pieces of decoration of the main figures.
8 - At the end of the day each group made ​​his automaton and is ready to tell the job done (see the video at the top of the page)
